Ministers of Communion to the Sick represent Christ and the community and ensure the sick, the frail aged, and the housebound continue participating in the Paschal Mystery. This group's extraordinary ministers visit the sick and take Holy Communion to them. Through this ministry, they help our priests when they cannot meet a large community's needs. Members must qualify for this role and, more importantly, hold a valid Police Check and Working with Children check linked to St. Joseph’s Parish Springvale.
