St. Joseph's Leadership Team
The leadership team at St. Joseph's Catholic Church, Springvale, comprises individuals who work as a team with other church and parish teams and is responsible for overseeing and managing the pastoral plan, which may include administration practices, ministries, and spiritual growth. It plays an important role in ensuring that the church's activities and programs are aligned with the teachings of the Catholic Church. Through their
leadership, they help create a vibrant faith community that serves the pastoral, practical and spiritual needs of its members and the wider community as they arise.
The parish priest leads the team.

Communication: To communicate with the parishioners, keep them informed about church activities and initiatives, and solicit their feedback and input.
Managing Ministries: To assist the Parish Priest and oversee the various ministries and volunteers of the church, including religious education programs, youth groups, safeguarding initiatives, and outreach programs to the wider community.
Providing Spiritual Guidance: To provide opportunities for faith formation, these may include programs of spiritual growth, liturgical training, sacramental classes, and pastoral care.
Managing Resources: The leadership team liaises with the church's finance team to maintain facilities and personnel. This may include developing budgets, managing fundraising efforts and hiring and supervising staff and volunteers.
